Hello, I'm Edwin, a multi-award-winning photographer with over 30 years of experience and a lifelong passion for photography and film.

My signature is creating iconic, fashion-inspired bride and groom portraits, influenced by fine art and fashion photography. I love working with light, composition and gentle direction to create photographs that feel cinematic, elegant and timeless.

But there's another side to my photography that is just as important.

My style is deeply rooted in wedding photojournalism. I love capturing those natural, unscripted moments that tell the real story of your wedding day. The laughter, the tears, the unexpected expressions and the little moments you may not even realise are happening.

For me, beautiful wedding photography is about bringing these two styles together. Creating something extraordinary while preserving everything that makes your day uniquely yours.

my photographic journey
My love of photography began long before I photographed my first wedding.
I started photography college in 1987, and my professional career began shooting weddings and fashion in 1988.

After several years, my career took me in a completely different direction, into the extraordinary world of natural history. I went on to enjoy a long and distinguished career photographing marine life and wildlife for clients including National Geographic and Discovery.

Photographing wildlife taught me something that has stayed with me throughout my career: the importance of patience, observation and anticipating a moment before it happens.

Today, those same instincts are at the heart of my wedding photography. Knowing when to quietly observe, when to anticipate a fleeting expression, and when to step forward and create something extraordinary.

Having returned to photographing weddings, I've come full circle, bringing everything I've learnt throughout my career into the work I love today.

I'm genuinely passionate about photography and film. In fact, you could say I'm a little bit geeky about it!
I can be a little shy, but put a camera in my hand and I'm completely in my element.
I love photographing people, making them feel comfortable and helping them enjoy being in front of the camera.

On your wedding day, I'll be calm, respectful and unobtrusive when it matters, quietly capturing the moments as they unfold. And when it's time for your bride and groom portraits, I'll give you all the direction, encouragement and patience you need.

You don't need to know how to pose or feel confident in front of a camera. That's my job, and I'll make sure the experience feels relaxed, natural and enjoyable.
Above all, I'll never forget that it's your wedding day, not mine.

Over the years, I've been fortunate to receive international recognition for my photography, including being voted UK Luxury Wedding Travel Photographer of the Year 2019.

I've also been inducted into Society Wedding Photographers World, which promotes the world's best wedding photographers, and featured in The World's Top Photographers – Photojournalism.

My work has been exhibited internationally, from London to Los Angeles, and I've received gold and silver Hasselblad awards.

I've also photographed public relations assignments involving personalities including Nigella Lawson, Ewan McGregor, Boy George and Gok Wan.

I'm incredibly proud of these achievements, but what matters most to me is the trust couples place in me to photograph one of the most important days of their lives.
